Home Movie Co. makes short documentary films that capture a loved one’s story in their own words, tailor-made for families in Atlanta, Georgia. Led by Emmy-winning filmmaker Fraser Jones, we create life story films for parents and grandparents, plus wedding films and portraits of children, made to be treasured for generations.
Fraser has spent more than a decade as a documentary filmmaker, interviewing hundreds of people and making dozens of films. Home Movie Co. brings that honed craft to the most personal story there is: your family’s.

How long does a typical project take from concept to delivery?
Most projects are completed between 8 to 10 weeks. Timelines vary based on scope, feedback cycles, and scheduling, but we always provide a detailed production calendar so you know what to expect.
What if my relative is camera-shy?
We will work with your relative to make them fully comfortable on camera before filming, so the interview feels like a relaxed conversation. We also provide secure links and premium thumb drives for private viewing and archiving.
How collaborative is the documentary-making process?
As collaborative as you want! We have detailed conversations and creative meetings with each client before filming to make sure they’re getting the exact final product they have in mind.
